Photography has always been a part of my life. I grew up with a darkroom in my house and spent my adolescence pretending to be Annie Lebowitz taking glamour shots of my friends. I still shoot a lot of fashion which you can find here, but I spend most of my time photographing couples in love. Being trusted to document a wedding is an honor and I feel so fortunate to be invited to catch such a intimate glimpse into people’s personal lives. I have come to realize that being a wedding photographer really suits me. I am at my best behind a camera and I can’t imagine anything more rewarding than sharing in other people’s joy while being able to give back a memory from that happiness.
When I photograph a wedding I am drawn to the unscripted moments. My goal is to capture my subjects both naturally and honestly. As your photographer, you can expect to see a lot of candid moments photographed artfully with close attention paid to light and detail. There is no template, no shot list, no attempt to contrive a standardized event. In the end, you will have tangible memories of emotional moments and the people you shared them with that are uniquely your own. When it is all over, you will even be able to look back and enjoy some parts of the day that you might have missed.
Hiring a wedding photographer is about more than the finished product. It is my job to create a space where you can feel relaxed and comfortable, sharing affection with your partner in front of a camera. I keep a low profile with a hands off approach so that the day can unfold organically. I want you to have room to be yourself and to absorb everything that is happening around you.
I have over 4 years of experience photographing weddings and I am here to help you along every step of the way. I am available for location scouting, scheduling planning, and vendor referrals. I will ensure that the whole process is easier for you, so that when the big day comes you will be free to celebrate your love without any distractions.
