Anytime a couple tells me they want candid images above all else, I know I’m really going to enjoy myself shooting their wedding. This was absolutely true for Sarah and Carsten. Not only did I get to focus on all the good stuff but every location for the day was to die for. Can you believe the house where Sarah got ready? I’m a sucker for wallpaper to begin with so when I found out the wallpaper in the house was hand painted depicting the changing seasons and that there was a matching rug I nearly lost it. The church where they were married was equally impressive. I don’t normally book a lot of church weddings but after this one I’m really starting to hope that changes. Because it was such a classic Seattle day it was perfectly fitting for it to end at the MOHAI with a pretty wild dance party. I’m so grateful for all my couples and really love that they trust me to do what I do. I am also grateful for Kathryn Denelle Stevens of Atlas Photo for helping me shoot this one! Such talent.
